Small Bites is a short film I produced during a creative residency at Elsewhere Studios in Paonia, Colorado. This project was inspired by my curiosity and admiration of small scale food producers in the North Fork Valley. This region has the largest number of organic farms in Colorado and the widest diversity of foods produced. I named this project Small Bites, in honor of these small scale producers sharing a small glimpse into their lives and expertise. I filmed six different producers, spending a day on their farm followed by sharing a meal with each of them. I made ceramics inspired by the meal we shared and/or the food they produce. View the ceramics here.
